Assistors (Includes Navigators, Certified Application
Counselors, and Marketplace Facilitated Enrollers)
Brokers
Assistors are certified experts who provide application and enrollment assistance to individuals, families, and small businesses through NY
State of Health. Assistors provide assistance in multiple languages and
are available weekdays, evenings, and even on weekends. Assistors
are available in convenient community-based locations in every county
and all help is free.
Navigators and Certified Application Counselors may work for entities
such as hospitals, healthcare providers, or community-based
organizations. Marketplace Facilitated Enrollers work for health plans.
Certified Brokers are independent NYS licensed professionals that
have been certified by NY State of Health to provide full service
enrollment assistance to individuals and small businesses. Along with
providing education on the health insurance options available through
NY State of Health, Brokers can look at your needs, provide
advice and fully enroll you in health plans. Help applying for coverage and
enrolling in a plan is always free.
Authorize
Authorizing will allow them to make changes to your account on your behalf. A message will be sent to them telling them they have been authorized.
Please select which agency you would like to work through. This can be changed at a later time by you or the Broker.
If you have an Assistor or Broker currently assigned to your account, adding a new Assistor or Broker will remove the previous Assistor or Broker.
